I’m very glad my parents never did this. I have to portion control myself for every single piece of food that passes my lips. When I was young my narcissistic mom thought that I was underweight. Old photos show that I was a little lanky but not underweight! She took me to a doctor and a therapist and in the end started making me eat more. When she couldn’t order me to eat more she bribed me with toys and books for finishing my plate.

That’s abuse. I mean I hated ham as a kid and was required to eat most of it but was never given a ridiculous portion of it and was never berated or beaten over it.
