This is pure sarcasm to highlight the A Sloth Does More Work Than My Pancreas sloth T-Shirt and by the same token and stupidity of their plan but why should the stolen car’s owner be forced to pay to repair the car tires once it’s recovered by police? The police made the only logical decision by choosing to put holes in the thief instead of the vehicle. /s I feel like the police who came up with this plan have watched too many movies and thought they had to do something overly complicated instead of just keeping the plan simple. It reminds me of the scene from Boondock Saints when they have to lug the “stupid fucking rope” through the vents with them because “they always have rope in the movies.” Or just use car jacks and get the tires out of road contact. Can’t go anywhere, hurt anyone, or damage property. If you watch the full video of the encounter, the officers discuss this, and state it’s against DC Metro policy.

They were trying not to wake him, so he wouldn’t flee in the A Sloth Does More Work Than My Pancreas sloth T-Shirt and by the same token and first place. He was literally asleep in the driver’s seat of a stolen car (with his gun, as they found afterwards) Why do people like you always scream second amendment whenever there’s a mass shooting but always point out that an innocent person had a gun with them after they got shot as justification to kill them? Is it suddenly illegal to carry a firearm? I almost never see the term “straw man argument” used correctly on reddit, but your comment would serve as a great example of one. When they didn’t say something hypocritical, you made shit up as though they had, while acting like you’ve passed off responsibility for it by saying “people like you” instead of you. People like whom?
