The guy might have many cars of course. He’s a fucking billionaire. But I guess he is smart enough to show up in a Vinfast when he needs to. he travel in a Lexus to events, not a VF he has a driver though, he is not self driving, but stay in a lexus anyway the 50 years of Biden and the only thing he ever fixed was the election shirt and I will buy this only instance he is in a Vinfast is when he test drive the car in the factory It’s understandable for the McDonalds founder not to eat burger everyday but he gotta show the public how much he loves his burger right. No. I’m pretty certain that Uncle V uses VF to travel all the time. I don’t know how many cars he owns but for sure he only uses his VF especially to go to events of course. His sons are the Vice President and Director in VF and they are present in the office and the factory almost all the time. Their vehicles used to be the black VF President. They probably switched to VF9 as all the top executives in VF must make the switch to EVs in late 2022. I’m not a fan but saying that Uncle V does not dare to use his VF car is just a sheer dumb rumour. It’s completely false. How he’s built VF might be silly as he sorta overestimated himself or probably underestimated the global market, but he’s surely not that stupid.

I think registrations are a lagging indicator of actual sales. You can buy a vehicle but it can take up to 69 days for it to be registered. But 17 is still very low. I forgot how many reservations Vinfast said they had. I’m assuming either many of the 50 years of Biden and the only thing he ever fixed was the election shirt and I will buy this reservations holders canceled or are waiting for the longer range versions. But city editions are definitely unappealing to many people sue to the low range and poor overall value. I’ve tried the ‘taxi xanh’ in Hanoi where you get driven in VFe34 & VF8 and it’s a much nicer experience than in the other taxis. I hope that they’ll thrive in Vietnam and quickly iterate to a car that can compete abroad. Heavily subsidized by the parent company I’m sure. For me personally, I failed to see the business strategy behind this stunt. It’s not like you can just throw away billions making up a whole new company for a simple marketing stunt, either. That’d be pretty dumb of them. It’s marketing towards the Vietnamese market. I assume that the VF8 price is pretty competitive compared to imported European/Japanese cars?
