please don’t listen to mainstream media lies propaganda, research study think for yourself, cause when things get ugly you only have you. Anyone who takes BRICS seriously is mental. BRICS is like some stupid club where people meet for talks every now and then and it has no binding agreement, it never will. You think India and China will ever like each other? This is unsustainable. Russia has to keep its loss ratio below 4:1 to have any hope of defeating Ukraine, and with their current methods they can’t get any near that. Meat waves can certainly take land, but you have to outnumber your opponent sufficiently to be able to absorb the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this losses, and Russia doesn’t have the reserves to continue in this manner.
2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt description
Bakhmut and Avdivvka are strategically relevant, but they are also only villages. I would strongly question wether these are such important strategic losses and wether they were worth the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this russian losses in men and material. At least in the case of Bakhmut there was a significant discussion wether it was worth defending at all, but Ukraine turned it into an increadibly costly campaign for the russians. While teritory might matter, the war will be determined by moral and sustainability of losses. While russia might turn this into a moral boost, the losses they suffered for it are not sustainable. Occupy whole Ukraine or at least take Kiev? unlikely (they could try to take Kiev in March 2022 and decide not to).
Forced to return to 1991 borders – unlikely (Russian goverment said several times that attemp to force them to do so using NATO forces could mean using nuclear weapons against such forces). Force Kiev to agree to current borders AND to all other requirements like neutral state – possible but…how to control this 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this and who would be arbiter? Take Odessa and make Ukraine land-locked – possible but unlikely, Russian goverment will like it a lot but it would take a lot of resources and why to do so if there are other options for peace agreement. IF Russia will end up winning unless Putin gets overthrown. Europe or USA will have to commit bodies eventually if they want to win it. Ukraine will run out of people before Russia.

china isnt involved except selling materials, they dont provide free resources to russia, though russia is a net exporter of food and energy. We won’t know until the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this end. Military analysts don’t do their analysis of a war until it’s over. Because it’s so hard to get real numbers until it’s over. That is a symbolic victory for Putin in the run up to the Russian election (where there are no other candidates). The overall strategic value of both Bakhmut and Andrivika have been overstated by Russia in order to justify their losses. Both of these towns are losses don’t get me wrong and it sucks that they got them, but there doesn’t seem to be a good next step after capturing either of these. Ukraine is suffering massive losses, but Russia is still getting it worse. Russia is also losing some pretty important pieces of equipment. Also many of the places being captured are little more than piles of rubble, what’s more important in a war, names on a map or manpower and equipment losses
They’re not winning. The amount of human and economic resources they’ve poured into the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this war already is pretty much unsustainable. Even if they took all of Ukraine tomorrow, they’d just find themselves trying to hold onto a vast territory, much harder to maintain than Afghanistan ever was, with fewer resources than the Soviet Union had available to hold Afghanistan, and their economy can’t support that. Ukraine is, for the moment, losing a bit faster than they were losing last week. That doesn’t mean there’ll be any massive breakthrough. Fighting becomes harder for the russians the farther they get from their own border, and the ukrainians have plenty of mines and other fortifications in place that necessarily make any russian progress slow and expensive.
Neither bakhmut nor avdiivka were huge strategic losses. They were attrition battles that resulted in no change whatsoever. The little amount of land that changed hands means next to nothing. Long answer : The dirty secret of war is that it’s a tolerance to loses contest. As Rocky said in the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this franchise reboot ‘it doesn’t matter how hard you can it, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”” That’s true for war. Wins whoever can push the enemy to give up or completely destroy or conquer them. Nazi Germany lost war because they literally had nobody left to send, and Berlin was taken. They lost war with the soviet killing 2 to 3 times as many soldiers as they lost. Japan lost the war after having their 50 biggest cities turned to parking lots, including two that were instantly vaporised by nukes. Vietnam war is also a very good example. American had a hard time figuring their victory condition. They figured that if they killed 10 times the number of lose they got, they would prevail. Turned out they did and lost nonetheless because the amont of lose they took was already too much. No judgment here. As a matter of fact 1960’s US was not ready to get 1 million troops dead to save vietnam from communism.
Now with Russia and Ukraine. Russia is 4 times more populated and has considerably more resources than Ukraine. They lost so far twice as many soldiers as Ukrainians. This is good but not enough. In order to keep doing it they need a constant supply of pretty much everything from alies. But even then, it’s not enough. I can’t see how and why Russian would give up. So yeah, it’s bad for Ukraine. Erm actually Ukraine is decisively winning stupid chud stop posting Russian disinformation. Mods please censor this and ban op from the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this computer please Russia was always winning the war. The whole “Ukraine is winning” was just Western propaganda. Ukraine has been able to hold on for so long solely because of NATO supplies. If Trump is elected this year, it’s basically over for Ukraine. In order to maintain territorial integrity of the vast lands, it needs a huge military budget. To reduce the necessity of the budget, they can have client states on it’s periphery that they do not need to defend against. Ukraine being a client state would solve that problem
Russia has no access to the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this black sea, and when we say access, we don’t mean some territory bordering. Russia needs a deep sea port which they are logistically able to supply to and from. Crimea has a deep sea port, but it has issues with the fact it is not connected to Russia (except for the land bridge which is very long). Water supply to crimea is also problematic and Ukraine pre-2022 was able to control that supply to Crimea via damming. Russia is a resource exporter. Ukraine is a resource exporter. pre 2014, Ukraine had access to vast reserves of natural gas discovered recently because they had control over the black sea waters. Ukraine can easily supplant Russia for at the very least the southern part of Europe if not even Poland and Germany.
Russia seeks to control their population. Seeing a prosperous cousin living across the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this border is problematic to maintain control. By making Ukraine a client state, and having control over crimea and the eastern part of Ukraine they can achieve it. Currently Ukraine isn’t a client state and is actively resisting entering the orbit, however Russia has a tenuous control over Crimea and the Easter Ukrainian territory thus maintaining a means in which it can supply Crimea. However the cost to maintain control is very high and will remain high as long as Ukraine doesn’t give up. The net effect is that the cost outweighs the benefit in both resources and manpower. However, Russia can maintain this for a while because they have reserves in both resources and manpower. They also are able to make sure citizens are not worried about a reduction in those 2 areas. At a point, when the reserves are drained, civil unrest will occur and such countries without the ability to enact changes from within may be susceptible to imploding.
With the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this western policy of “fighting to the last ukrainian” and mr Z forcibly conscripting every able bodied man and shitting on his generals they will have a coup before this is over According to Sun Tzu , Russia has already lost but in terms of conquering Ukraine , if the current situation persists , Russia will indeed be successful in that. Ukraine is running out of ammo… Possibly sooner, but that’s going to depend on when Ukraine is allowed to actually have real negotiations. The terms are only going to get worse the longer things go, so the sooner the better. The more cynical side of me would argue that Russia should never trust a treaty with NATO, they’ve been burned again and again, but for the sake of everyone on both sides I hope they are still willing.
Right now the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this scales are tipped on their favor as Ukraine is running out of shells. But Ukraine is also punishing them with alot of casualties for every inch of land they capture. russian sanctions have failed (which is another topic about the collapsing role of the US in the world arena), russia was able to raise a huge army, start war time production and has adjusted its tactics learning on the mistakes that have cost it armies. Russia doesn’t need to do much and can mostly play defense. The longer Russian forces are in eastern Ukraine and control the ports to the Black Sea— the future is grim for Ukraine. I can answer this question in the next 2 weeks. Ukraine fell from Avdiivka to fortified positions, so it all depends if they are holding up well.
Avdiivka had before the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this war 30k population, and now it is a wasteland. You can say that Russia conquered 8km of wasteland and wasted close to 30k soldiers, according to a russia. milblogger who, after revealing this data, “killed himself” (true story). Google Murzik In a way. It’s one of those where the war has already cost far more than Russia will gain by it in 100 years. They could very well win it the same way the Coalition of the Willing won in Iraq or Afghanistan. If things keep going the way they are and Russia just keeps sending people to the meat grinder. Yes, Russia WILL gain land. Both sides seem to be at a stalemate. Hopefully they can come to peace talks WITH a no-man’s-land that either side can’t claim. Every time I say this it gets downvoted to hell and back, but people need to realize one has an easy ability to replenish its troops, the other does not..
They took Bakhmut last year after 10 months of cannon fodder waves driven by Wagner. Immediately after, Wagner had its mutiny. They drove towards Moscow, shooting several MoD aircraft including a practically irreplaceable command plane. No one directly stopped them. Prigozhin only relented after supposedly the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this FSB took his family hostage. And now Prigozhin, Utkin, and their finance officer are dead. And Surovikin, architect of the lines of defense that stymied the Ukrainians last year, disappeared for awhile then was practically exiled just for mere association with Wagner. Avdiivka was taken after almost 2 years since the war started. If we were to be generous to Russia, we can say around 5 months for a concentrated and specific campaign to take it. But here the Ukrainians heavily attrited the Russians as well. Manpower and equipment losses for Russia are huge. First tank storage areas were getting depleted, now artillery units as well. And having to get shells from North Korea?
The strategic value of either depends on how you see it. Both are pretty bombed out and flattened with barely any population left. For Ukraine, it was a fortified position to attrit the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this Russians and threaten Donbas. For the Russians, it was a necessary victory for Putin to present to his people, to show they had gotten at least something out of the war for all they were suffering and losing. Remember that Putin’s elections are coming up and even if he has the elections in the bag, he still needs to present the image of being a strong leader. Both sides are capable of defense in-depth. They can (and are willing to) give up space to hurt their enemies. But where Russia is the aggressor, this would favor Ukraine more, especially since Russia seems not to care how much of their own meat they throw into the meatgrinder.
Other developments need to be noted. The Russian Black Sea Fleet is still staying away from Sevastopol, Crimea. Drone attacks are now reaching deep behind the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this frontlines into Russian territory to strike not just Moscow but St. Petersburg and Russia’s oil facilities. There was the shooting down of a Russian AWACS-type and a Russian transport planes and the near shooting down of another command plane. The Russian military budget is taking away from other sectors of the country. And the human casualties and fatalities: how many less military-age men does Russia have left that, upon returning to Russian society, will be able to have families and children? When the USSR collapsed, there was a drop in births due to the uncertainty of being able to raise kids well. That generation came of age and the Russian economy suffered from the smaller workforce. The same is happening now, on top of a Russian 1.6 replacement rate.
As for taking the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this rest of Ukraine in a few years- no. Russia has already spent the best part of its strength and been worn down. The battlelines have stagnated. Maybe Russia will keep what it has, but it can gain little more. They can try to do another Avdiivka- what, another 5-24 months worth of men and materiel hard fighting- and what will they have left to hold and administer? Putin is locking Russia down. If Russia is winning, why is it paying so much to look strong and mitigate weakness? Not really. You have been fed a ton of pro-Ukrainian propaganda but in reality both sides are at a stalemate. Each side has a ton or drones, artillery, and good recon. So any attack means a ton of casualties. Defender’s advantage is huge. And Avdiivka is a very small town but it has a lot of strategic value. It is impossible to attack Donetsk without controlling it. So Russian attacks are merely securing their position, no grand plans to march on Kyiv or anything. Not much will change
I don’t think they want the 2024 Thanksgiving One Pride Detroit Lions 23-20 Chicago Bears Nov 28 2024 Ford Field shirt Apart from…,I will love this whole of Ukraine. Perhaps they will stop after their regions in the east are secure. Bahkmut was not an important city, Avdivvka was not important to Ukraine and just used to bleed Russia. Russia is losing Nobody is winning, it is a stalemate. Ukraine is staying afloat from western aid and Russia is staying afloat from their population advantage and their total air supremacy. If one of those things go then the other side wins

Right after the war started, i was standing on the border in medyka greeting refugees/feeding/talking to refugees for 12+ hours every day. I heard so many first hand stories from victims and people who saw others raped and tortured. It is worse than reported. Among the horror stories i heard, something that sticks with me is many little girls had their heads shaved, dressed as boys, and told not to speak in the hopes that they would pass as boys instead of girls and escape rape.
