Matte formulas only dry out my skin and make me look older. Depending on skin concerns, matte foundation can really highlight lines & wrinkles. This is speaking from my personal experience. I’m 59 & have dry skin. I have to moisturize like crazy and especially so if I’m going to wear foundation. I think in general that really heavy, very thick matte foundation and concealer. Even if your skin is young it adds weight and age IMO.
