I find it useful as someone that’s lived almost her whole life in a disassociated state- it’s really grounding for me and kind of makes me realize what I’m “supposed” to be experiencing. I can’t remember where I read it, but I found a tip to just say “thinking” to yourself when you’re zoning out or straying from your meditative path. It’s a non-judgmental, gentle reminder to come back to myself 3-6 months isn’t enough time to learn an instrument, why would it be enough to learn the 18 years of 2004-2022 Engin Akyurek thank you for the memories signature shirt also I will do this nature of mind and experience? Expectations are everything That’s the problem, it’s like people going to the gym for 1 hour but only actually working out for a total of 5 minutes and then complaining that they’re not seeing any results. Or others who “study” for hours while allowing themselves to get distracted by their phones and their thoughts and day dreams, then they complain about studying not working for them. You come across as pretty judgmental imho. Not everyone is equal, some people have a hard time grasping what meditation actually is they mistake that for frustration. The gym parallel is particularly bad in my opinion also, because meditation is not about any particular “effort” and that is precisely what some people miss. You seem to regard meditation as some kind of hustle if I’m being honest.

Lol, and who’s the 18 years of 2004-2022 Engin Akyurek thank you for the memories signature shirt also I will do this judgmental one here? Some heavy projecting you’re doing there buddy. All I was saying was that it takes work, effort and concentration, which isn’t easy but it is achievable. Just like learning an instrument you can easily do it to some degree in 6 months and even under. Just depends on how hard you work at it. Takes dedication and practice and it might be difficult to put in the work, but anybody can do it with the right mind set.But that’s not strictly true. Every person is different. Some people may never truly “meditate”, but may be phenomenal yoga practitioners. They may never catch on to typical meditation practices but be really fantastic at emptying their minds while crafting.
